Enjoy Our Gala!

The Hoogland Center for the Arts was so excited to welcome audiences back into our beloved performing arts center for our 2021 Gala, “A Night on Broadway." The Delta variant, however, had a different plan. After consulting with local health officials, we've decided that this doesn't seem to be the best time to have a party with hundreds of people. But the show must go on, as the saying goes, so we've decided to take the show online again this year on Saturday night, September 18 at 8 p.m.
"A Night on Broadway" will be directed by HCFTA Board President Leigh Steiner in partnership with designer Dave Shaw and musical director Doug Hahn. They are working hard to make the evening magical!
The cast includes Wes Bridges, Campbell Coker, Mary Jo Curry, Jasmine French, Jeremy Goeckner, Sara Goeckner, Gus Gordon, Chloe Jancosek, Damien Kaplan, Geoff Leathers, Andrew Maynerich, Lori Ann McCabe, Brittney McLaughlin, Joel Ochoa, Jaden Saunders, Mary Kate Smith, Leigh Steiner, Matthew Vala, Aasne Vigesaa, Tiffany Cheatham Williams, Cynda Wrightsman , Tony Young, and the Hoogland Teens
"A Night on Broadway" is our major fundraiser of the year, and your support is more important than ever as we try to reopen the building. We are faced with increased financial demands as we slowly return to full operation. These demands include increased energy costs, staffing needs, and operating expenses. Proceeds from our Gala help pay for the day-to-day operations of the Hoogland Center for the Arts, which is home to 20 different resident groups and host to over 100 other community organizations which use our space throughout the year.
