On December 31, 2003, the Hoogland Center for the Arts opened its doors to the public for the first time. Over the years we have experienced some growing pains, but we are proud to say that the Hoogland is stronger than ever. Our success is due to the support of people like you, and we continue to depend on your generosity. We hope that you will consider including the Hoogland Center for the Arts in your charitable giving plans. The Hoogland is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, so your continued investment in our future assures a return to our community and its people.

We are truly excited about our future. In our first decade, we were proud to bring 19 unique community and arts organizations together under one roof. As a result we've been able to present exciting performances, special events, gallery openings and classes to the community, and have hosted countless meetings, weddings, parties and workshops. The Hoogland Center for the Arts has been called the "place where the arts come alive in Springfield." We've become a cultural hub in central Illinois, with resident groups that represent choral and symphonic music, dance, theater, visual art, the spoken word, broadcasting and community service organizations.
