Ticket Exchange/Refund Policy
NO REFUNDS. In most cases tickets may be exchanged for another performance within the run of a show PRIOR to the performance printed on the ticket. All exchanges must be done in person at the Hoogland Center for the Arts Ticket Office located at 420 South Sixth Street, Springfield, IL. Exchanges are not guaranteed, and may not be granted for shows in which food is provided.
Late Seating Policy
The late seating policy is determined on a show-by-show basis. In some cases patrons who enter the theatre after the performance has started may be asked to wait at the back of the theatre until an usher can direct the patrons to their seats. To assure that you do not miss anything, please allow enough time to arrive at the theatre and be seated before the performance starts.
In the event of a performance cancellation, patrons will have the option to exchange the tickets for a future performance or receive a gift certificate for the amount of the tickets (may not include additional ticketing fees). Gift certificates may be used toward any event at the Hoogland Center for the Arts where tickets are sold through the Ticket Office. Refunds may be offered in special circumstances.
If you won tickets at a charity event for an event that was cancelled in 2020, please contact the box office at (217) 523-2787. We will do our best to offer tickets for another performance.
We ask that patrons who require accessible services or seating to notify the Hoogland Center for the Arts Office at least two weeks prior to the performance to ensure our staff is able to accommodate you.
The City of Springfield allows free, on-street parking at meters after 5 p.m. and on the weekends. Additionally, the Springfield Downtown Parking garage is located directly north of the building. The parking garage is not owned by or affiliated with the Hoogland Center for the Arts, but is available for use by Hoogland patrons.

Wheelchair Accessible Seating
In the LRS Theatre, there are currently 12 wheelchair accessible seats in the last row of the orchestra section and six wheelchair accessible seats between the loge and balcony on the second floor. Companion seats next to the wheelchair accessible seats can be arranged as well. Wheelchair seats can be purchased online, by phone or in person.
There are five seats in the orchestra section of the LRS Theatre that are reserved for patrons who are not in a wheelchair but require special seating arrangements. These seats have arms that lift up for easy access and are on the aisle. Companion seats next to the special needs seats can be arranged as well. If you require special needs seating, please call or visit the Ticket Office.
'Large' or 'Plus Size' Seating
Ticket Office staff will try their best to help you find a comfortable seat, however the LRS Theatre does not have specifically designated 'large' or 'plus size' seating. If you would like to request seating with extra room, we can make arrangements to have a chair without arms and a companion seat placed in between the Loge and Balcony sections.
